A1/A2 detection of animals
Type of milk which human consumes has the effect on our health. The health effects of milk may depend on the breed of the cow it came from. Currently, A2 milk is marketed as a healthier choice than regular A1 milk. Proponents assert that A2 has several health benefits and is easier for people with a milk intolerance to digest. We, here in BVGLS R&D can detect the type of milk which will be produced by cattle using genetic studies.
Quantitative Trait Loci for Milk prediction:
Milk Yielding (MY) capacity and Fat % yielding capacity of cattle are economic traits for farmers. Our molecular biology department is well equipped to conduct such tests.
